I am an experienced gynaecologist and offer a wide range of services including contraception counselling, prenatal care, infertility assessment, management of fibroid uteri and endometriosis, menopause treatment and much more. I am committed to providing the patients of the York region with the highest quality of care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Dr. Sobowale is the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Medical Director of the Woman and Child Program at Mackenzie Health. She has a passion for women’s healthcare and creating a safe environment for patients to receive and complete their care. After finishing her Masters in Biotechnology from the University of Toronto, she completed her medical training in the US and then worked for 7 years in a large healthcare system in Maine. She has held various leadership positions in Informatics and most recently as the Medical Director position over 6 birthing hospitals. In addition to her numerous leadership roles, Dr. Sobowale has a clinical interest in high-risk obstetrics and complex gynaecology, such as management of endometriosis and fibroids. She is trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques including robotic surgery and happy to be working in the growing and vibrant community of York region.
